Short bio: Soon to be M.Sc. Sensors & Cognitive Psychology. Has worked as developer, nurse and mechanic; is gamer, woodworker & starting in Cosplay. Passionate about music, will occasionally talk about Techno. Likes rhythm games.
My projects include the two game jams linked here, of which I am most proud of my work on Labodytory where I was the lead developer and one of three level designers. I am also a freelance developer for the upcoming 9 Dystricts.
For university, I built a highway scenario with Unity for my research job, simulating various car movements in traffic for driver research purposes. I currently write my master's thesis, where I transfered the highway scenario into an urban scenario, ported it from Windows desktop to room-scale VR (SteamVR) and used it for pedestrian research.
I like to write little tools and scripts to make processes more efficient. You can find some of them on my GitHub page. I have an eye for intuitive controls and UI.
I play on Steam Deck and PC, including an HTC Vive Pro. The most important thing in a game for me is immersion, be it because of good use of VR or because of great story telling and world building. I also like a good fast platformer (I probably played the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy like five times).

I will graduate from my Master's in June 2024 and I would like to use my newly (2 years) acquired Unity skills in the gaming or gaming related world. I'm a beginner in most of my fields but I learn fast and have many fields of interest. I am writing my thesis in the field of traffic psychology using Unity, SteamVR and Motion Capture (cameras + retro-reflective markers).
My educational background includes psychology and research methods, computer science and computer graphics as well as maths, physics and electronics. My professional background includes freelance web development and two years at an IT consulting company, where I built automation tools for the development pipeline in a team that I founded and led. I like efficient workflows and will probably write a script to automate something at some point in any job. I'm good at solving things with code.
I live in Germany (CET / UTC+1) but I'm okay with working remotely.
My only social network is Mastodon.
